THE British Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (BCCP) commences its 11th annual celebration of World Gin Day at Dusit Thani Manila this June 27, celebrating more than a decade of the brilliant and vibrant spirit of gin.

Since the British Chamber celebrated World Gin Day with a UK-themed gin-tasting event simultaneously with its fifth bartending competition last year,14 companies have offered unique flavors such as truffle and cucumber gin to over 80 guests, including BCCP and British Embassy representatives.

In partnership with Ginebra San Miguel Inc. — one of the largest distilleries in Asia, renowned for its long-standing heritage and exceptional craftsmanship in the spirits industry — the 2024 celebration will showcase new and fresh flavors for the indulgence of gin lovers.

This year's catalog will include gin from various British points of origin. Brands will include Whitley Neill Gin, G&I Spirit Group Ltd. and many more.

For the upcoming sixth bartending competition, the creation of gin concoctions through the artistry of competing local mixologists and cocktail alchemists will be one of the main features of the event.

The event serves not only as a celebration of gin but also as an opportunity to strengthen relations between Philippine and UK industries.
