Ria Atayde, Zanjoe Marudo expecting their first child

CELEBRITY couple Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo are expecting their first child.

Atayde shared the news on Instagram, posting beach photos showing her baby bump.

"To the dad you already are and the dad I know you'll be. Love you @onlyzanjoemarudo, so excited for this new chapter with you. Happy first Father's Day!" she wrote.

The post received an outpouring of congratulatory messages from family and celebrity friends, including Jason Abalos, Yam Concepcion, Coleen Garcia, Eula Valdez, Isabelle Daza and director Antoinette Jadaone, among others.

Marudo, 41, and Atayde, 32, confirmed their engagement in a joint Instagram post on February 20. They tied the knot on March 23.

The two first worked together in the fantasy television series "My Dear Heart" in 2017.

Rumors of their dating began in August 2022 when they were spotted at a restaurant in New York with some friends. Atayde's mother, veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez, confirmed their relationship in October of the same year.
