Cebu City — one of the largest cities across the Philippines — is home not just to heritage sites but to modern thriving business districts and infrastructure as well.

Being the oldest city in the country, established in 1565 and with a rich history that predates Spanish colonization, Cebu City has admirably retained a deep connection to its roots. Proof to this are its well-preserved heritage sites, colonial-era architecture, and traditional festivals.

To this day, tourists can still visit Magellan's Cross, Basilica del Santo Niño and Fort San Pedro or join Sinulog Festival, just to name a few historical sites and festivities.

But amid preservation efforts, Cebu City has also embraced modernization. Bustling IT and business process outsourcing (BPO) sectors, upscale shopping malls, and a growing skyline with modern high-rises have occupied the city that continues to have a rich history.

"It's like Seda Central Bloc Cebu is younger addition to the family with a more modern vibe," general manager Manalang shared in a separate interview.

Seda Ayala Center Cebu offers more laidback and classic services, while Seda Central Bloc Cebu's modern amenities offer efficient services to bleisure — business and leisure — travelers.
