Former judge named to PCSO role

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. appointed retired Marikina Regional Trial Court (RTC) judge Felix P. Reyes as the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) announced on Tuesday.

The 63-year-old Reyes, who was also a former president of the Philippine Judges Association, took his oath of office before Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.

He previously served as an acting member of the PCSO Board of Directors from November 2022.

Reyes took up Political Science at the Far Eastern University from 1977 to 1981 and finished law at the University of the East from 1982 to 1986.

Apart from Marikina, he also served as a judge in the RTC of Calamba from 2011 to 2013, Taguig RTC Branch 70 from 2017 to 2019 and RTC Lipa from 2011 to 2021.
