THE New Era University Center for Journalism (NEU-CJ), in cooperation with the NEU College of Communication (NEU-COC), will hold the 1st National Summit on Journalism at the University Hall on May 28 and 29, 2024, according to Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) General Secretary Rene Panoncillo.

With the theme "EmpowerED Journalism: Cultivating Communication Synergy through Student-Educator-Practitioner Collaboration," the summit aims to provide insights into the current trends in journalism and news reportage. It will also provide continuing professional development (CPD) points for all PRC-licensed attendees.

Meanwhile, the NEU College of Law (NEU-COL) held free legal consultations at the Camp Sampaguita and New Bilibid Prison-Maximum Security Compound in Muntinlupa City on May 9, 2024.

The activity, dubbed INC giving, is a joint project of the NEU-COL and the Iglesia Ni Cristo-District of Metro Manila South.

The basis of the project is a Biblical precept that says "Whenever you possibly can, do good to those who need it."

In a related development, the NEU Integrated School (NEUIS) will hold its 49th Moving Up Ceremonies at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan in the morning of June 28, 2024.

While the NEU will hold its 49th Commencement Exercises for the undergraduate and graduate levels at the same venue in the afternoon of June 28, 2024.
