MANILA, Philippines — Flights from Manila to several provinces were cancelled on Sunday due to Tropical Storm Aghon.
CebGo flights DG6031 and DG6032 (Manila-San Jose-Manila) were grounded because the San Jose Airport had no electricity and was merely relying on generator sets, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).
Cebu Pacific flight 5J821 and 5J822 (Manila-Virac-Manila) bound for Virac Airport were also cancelled.
At the Naga Airport, the affected flights were DG6113 and DG6114 (Manila-Naga-Manila).
CAAP said all concerned passengers were notified and told not to proceed to the airport.
