Beginning with the CLA, the mid-cycle facelift introduces a reshaped grille, redesigned LED headlights with high beam assist, and a new, sportier front bumper. The side profile remains largely unchanged, but it now features a new design for the 18-inch alloy wheels. Finally, the rear end gets a new design for the LED taillights and the rear bumper.

Interior changes for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLA are modest but significant. The dual 10.25-inch screens for the MBUX infotainment system are now standard, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There's also 64-color ambient LED lighting and a new design for the steering wheel. Additionally, advanced driver-assist systems in the CLA include active brake assist, attention assist, and a reverse camera, among other features.

As for the GLB, the model on sale in the Philippines continues to be the sporty AMG Line model. For the 2024 model year, the GLB gets a new front bumper design, a reshaped grille, and new LED headlights with automatic high beams. The 19-inch AMG five twin-spoke wheels are unchanged from the outgoing model. At the back, the LED taillights have a cleaner look, and the rear bumper sees a slight redesign.

Inside, changes are modest, though the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB now comes with more standard luxury features. The 10.25-inch version of the MBUX infotainment system is now standard, but the driver's digital screen remains 7 inches in size. There are plenty of storage areas, along with power-adjustable front seats. As expected, there's also Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with Artico synthetic leather and suede upholstery. The GLB also includes several standard advanced safety features, such as active brake assist, active parking assist, and a reverse camera.

Both the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLA and GLB are powered by the same 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 163 hp and 270 Nm of torque. This engine drives the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This setup allows for a 0-100 kph time of 9.3 seconds for the GLB and 8.5 seconds for the CLA.

Regarding prices, the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLA 200 Progressive is available for P3.99 million while the GLB 200 AMG Line retails for P4.59 million.
