DFM highlights cost-saving, environment-friendly EVs in updated lineup

AMID the growing demand for electric vehicles in the country, Dongfeng Motors (DFM) Philippines has released a revitalized lineup featuring fully electric and hybrid vehicles that promise enhanced convenience and savings for drivers and reduced carbon emissions.

Unveiled during the successful launch of its "Drive your friend" campaign in Pasig City on May 2, the DFM Nammi is a fully electric hatchback, which is ideal for daily driving. It is a stylish package with a 430-kilometer (km) range, a 30-minute fast charging feature and high-tech interfaces.

Having an estimated range of 330 km and being already beloved by many owners, the DFM Nanobox features a stylish and compact design, perfect for city driving.

For a more spacious option, the Forthing Friday is an electric sports utility vehicle with variants carrying estimated ranges of 430 km and 630 km, respectively. It boasts a modern, sporty look; spacious seating; and advanced technology.

The Aeolus Huge is a full-sized hybrid crossover that buyers can now avail of. It packs a 1.5-liter gasoline with an electric motor to assure savings on the road with the flexibility of the hybrid engine.
