Nearly 6.7K pass civil engineering licensure exam – PRC

MANILA, Philippines: The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 6,680 out of 17,010 or 39.27 percent of examinees passed this year's Civil Engineering Licensure Examinations (CELE).

These examinations were held last April 20 and 21 in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

De La Salle University (DLSU) is the top performing university for this CELE, where 84 out of 93 passed.

In the top 10 of this year's CELE, two examinees from DLSU also topped the exam:

Ryan Silvester Sy Chan and Cedric Jerome Carlos Donguines – DLSU-Manila (94.3 percent)

John Carlo Tamayo Furiscal – Mapúa University (93.95 percent)

Gwyneth Bergado Hermoso – Eastern University State University-Tacloban and Arexcin Ray Caballero Timbal – Bohol Island State University-Tagbiliran (93.6 percent)

Marvin Ballecer – Camarines Sur Polytechnic University-Nabua (93.2 percent)

Jonas Aldrin Wong Abad – University of Santo Tomas and Jonash Aldrin Caldoza Juntonio – Cebu Technological University-Main (92.95 percent)

Francise Angelo Dela Rosa Quilatan – Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Lopez (92.9 percent)

James Russel Yabut Osorio – Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sta. Mesa (92.55 percent)

Michael Lyndon Mañegos Chua – Cebu Institute of Technology-University (91.95 percent)

Carlos Bryce Maglaque Artates – University of Saint Louis-Tuguegarao (91.9 percent)

Sonnie Boy Batanes Balictar – Rizal Technological University, Renz Greg Camargo Ducay – Cebu Technological University, and Lennon Gabrielle Narciso Francisco – Cebu Institute of Technology-University (91.85 percent)

The CELE results were released by the PRC on Thursday, April 5, four working days after the exams were administered.
