Tying the knot for corporate executive Pianne Tobiano Sinfuego and long-time boyfriend Ryan Lavares last month was an enviable event most single girls could only dream of and most couples could only wish for.

From the romantic venue to the fabulous bridal gown to the celebrity singers who rendered romantic songs, the Sinfuego-Lavares nuptials was undoubtedly an important and memorable event graced by friends, family, and prominent guests.

The mother of the bride, chemist Pinky Tobiano, was deeply emotional as Pianne walked down the aisle of St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church in Lipa City, Batangas. The ceremony was officiated by Fr. Macwayne Maniwang.

The reception followed at the serene and picturesque venue, The Farm at San Benito, also in Batangas, a dream setting for many couples exchanging "I do's."

The air was filled with joy as family and friends gathered to witness the beautiful union of the couple on a sunny afternoon that seemed straight out of a fairy tale. The bride's second father, Juancho Robles, walked her down the aisle.

The Farm at San Benito, known for its lush greenery, tranquil ambiance, and healing environment, provided the perfect backdrop for Pianne and Ryan's dream wedding. From the moment guests arrived, they were enveloped in a sense of peace and beauty that set the tone for the day's event.

"The Farm is a beautiful venue, and we were so blessed to be able to have our celebrations there," gushed Pianne. "The place is known for its good energy, and we felt it would be a wonderful place to start our new chapter in life surrounded by all this positive energy and share it with the people that we love.

"My family frequents the farm. Ryan and I have made cherished memories there as a couple."

The Farm prepared an amazing feast for the couple, their family, friends and guests. The reception commenced under a canopy of twinkling lights and stars.

Top-notch entertainers, who are friends of the bride's family, added glitter to the event.

Erik Santos sang Pianne's bridal march. His rendition of "A Thousand Years" (originally by Christina Perri), which had a special musical arrangement made for the wedding, was so "heartwarming," as described by the bride.

For the reception, Santos crooned his version of "Got To Believe," a song he dedicated to the bride and groom. "Erik witnessed our love story unfold from the beginning," shared Pianne.

Yeng Constantino, a good friend of the family, sang "Ikaw," to which the couple did their first dance, choreographed by D'Grind. Moira dela Torre, a close friend of the bride, sang "Ikaw at Ako" after giving a short, heartfelt message for Pianne and Ryan.

Planning her wedding was not a big challenge for Pianne, "I personally enjoy planning events; hence, I was very involved and hands-on in the planning process of my wedding."

"I believe my previous experience helping my mom organize her events and being the planner of my friend groups really helped me navigate through planning our wedding.

"Our schedules were pretty packed, and we were meeting with suppliers and our coordinators almost daily, especially as the date came nearer."

Making the special date happen turned out to be a breeze for the couple.

"We were very blessed, thanks to our coordinator, Christine Ong Te, our supportive mom Pinky Tobiano, along with our supportive family and friends. Most of the wedding planning itself was quite smooth, and we hardly encountered major challenges during this time.

"If there were any challenges wedding-wise, I would have to say that it was really creating a solid timeline and sticking to our deliverables," Pianne admitted.

"Making sure we both stayed healthy despite having really busy schedules, as well."

Francis Libiran created the elegant and intricately designed wedding gown for the bride that shimmered in the afternoon sun. The couturier is no stranger to Pianne, having created her gowns for many milestones in her life — her 18th birthday and her graduations.

"I think every girl dreams of having a Francis Libiran bridal gown," Pianne maintained. "I am so fortunate to have mine made by him. He was very hands-on throughout the whole process and made sure the dress suited my personality and accentuated my best features."

Pianne and Ryan became mere acquaintances while they were both studying at the Ateneo de Manila University in 2013. They started dating in 2019 when they met again at a friend's party.

Talking about settling down was never a foreign topic for both of them throughout the five years they were together. They got engaged in June 2023 after Ryan popped the question to Pianne at a time and place she never expected.

"We had both been talking about settling down for a while, but I was really surprised when he popped the question while we were on vacation in Paris in June last year," offered Pianne.

"We were having a photoshoot all around Paris, and finally, when we were by the Seine River, with the view of the Eiffel Tower and my mom and younger sister (Karrel) hiding from afar, Ryan proposed. It was a picturesque and beautiful moment for all of us."

Realizing that Ryan was the one for her was not hard for Pianne to acknowledge.

"It was not one specific moment per se but a series of moments throughout the time we have been dating that he has shown me that he is kind, reliable, funny, and possesses many other traits I value in a partner," Pianne admitted.

"Over time, I realized Ryan was someone I would like to grow old with, start a family with, and continue sharing new experiences with."

Principal sponsors for the Sinfuego-Lavares altar date were former Governor Luis Chavit Singson, Ambassador Joey Antonio, Ray Chiang, Rajiv Chandiramani, Cornerstone Entertainment's Erickson Raymundo, Alilo Ensomo Jr., and Preet Singh.

The ladies were former Congresswoman Gina De Venecia, GSIS Board of Trustees lawyer Merceditas Gutierrez, Lara Villafuerte, Carisa Laus, lawyer Marilou Ancheta-Mejica, Lourdes Po and Babes Feliciano.

The couple has yet to go to Africa for their real honeymoon within the year. However, they had a simple one after the wedding at Nay Palad in Siargao.

"I really liked the idea of an unconventional honeymoon filled with adventure, romance, and relaxation," said Pianne. "I'm lucky that Ryan was really supportive of the idea."

Other VIP guests in attendance were Senator Win Gatchalian and his partner, Bianca Manalo; Congressman Lord Allan Velasco; Congressman Nicanor Briones; Vice Governor Ryan Singson; Vice Governor Mark Leviste; Philippine Airlines president Stanley Ng; Raj Uttamchandani; Anthony Pangilinan and Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan; Enrique Miranda and Ella Pangilinan Miranda; Tim Yap and Javi Martinez; singer Darren Espanto; Mega Sardines' William Tiu Lim and Michelle Tiu Lim Chan.

Rustan's president Zenaida Tantoco was supposed to be one of the principal sponsors, too. "But she sadly joined our Lord a few weeks before our wedding," disclosed Pianne.

The grandson of Singson, Ryker, son of Ryan and Patch Singson, was the dashing banner bearer for the ceremony. The daughter of Congressman Lord Allan Velasco, Sara Velasco, was one of the flower girls.

Pianne acknowledged the important people behind the scenes who made their wedding a success.

"I really could not have mounted this event without the help of Achi Christine Ong Te of Christine Ong Te Events (COTE), one of the best names in the wedding industry," Pianne said.

The most memorable thing for Pianne and Ryan on that day was that they shared a moment of love and bliss with those who hold a special place in their hearts, the highlight of their wedding day.

"Seeing how happy they were for us and how everyone really came together to be there for us was really touching," Pianne attested.
