Global Team Toyota athletes to reach greater heights at Paris 2024

TOYOTA Motor Corp. (Toyota) launches the next chapter of the Start Your Impossible (SYI) global marketing campaign, igniting excitement for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024.

The global campaign showcases the power of local communities across the world rallying behind their athletes, and emphasizes Toyota's belief that no journey is taken alone.

In Asia, Toyota partners with 11 athletes from India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam in SYI Toyota's first global corporate initiative. The athletes are set to participate and compete in the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024. Progressing themselves toward their sporting aspirations, these 11 exceptional athletes will join more than 200 Global Team Toyota Athletes from across the globe.

The full lineup of 11 Team Toyota Asia athletes include Murali Sreeshankar for Athletics (India); Ni Nengah Widiasih for Para Powerlifting (Indonesia), Abdul Latif Romly for Long Jump - Para Athletics (Malaysia), Nabita Shresta for Table Tennis (Nepal) Arshad Nadeem for Athletics (Pakistan), Carlos Yulo for Artistic Gymnastics (Philippines), Ernie Gawilan for Para Swimming (Philippines), Toh Wei Soong for Para Swimming (Singapore), Kunvalut Vitidsarn for Badminton (Thailand), Pongsakorn Paeyo for Wheelchair Racing - Para Athletics (Thailand), and Lê Văn Công for Para Powerlifting (Vietnam).

Currently, 8 out of the 11 Team Toyota Asia athletes have qualified for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 with other qualifications still ongoing.
