Artist on a Mission and the Philippine Navy Goodwill Ambassador for Culture and Arts Kristine Soguilon-Lim continues her advocacy in utilizing art to promote the country's rich culture and heritage.
In this first quarter of the year, she turned over artwork for the "Bridging Horizons: Naval Cultural Exchange Through Arts" project at the official residence of the Ambassador of Russian Federation to the Philippines, Marat Pavlov.
Lim — together with her family — also visits the office of Vice President Sara Duterte to turnover her masterpieces.
The project, spearheaded by Lim, Uno Lim (Philippine Navy Goodwill Ambassador for International Relations), Dingdong Dantes (Philippine Navy Goodwill Ambassador for Humanitarian Assistance and Social Welfare), and Joseph Francia (Philippine Navy Goodwill Ambassador for International and Local Media Relations), aims to highlight Philippine heritage and culture's uniqueness, beauty and significance. It seeks to promote artistic and cultural exchanges to bolster national diplomatic efforts, support military arts, enhance cultural diplomacy, and contribute to civil-military operations.
Additionally, it serves as a platform for diverse cultural activities, facilitating the exchange of ideas, knowledge, music, artwork, and more among people from various nations and backgrounds.
From the Ambassador's residence, Lieutenant General Charlton Sean Gaerlan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), received Dantes and Lim at the AFP General Headquarters where she also turned over two art pieces still from her Bridging Horizons project.

Finally, Lim's advocacy took her to the office of Vice President Sara Duterte.
During their meeting, Duterte and Lim discussed the visual artist's plans and projects lined up for indigenous tribes in the country. The artist's husband husband Jaime Jasper Lao Lim and daughter Justine as well as the members of Gawad Pilipino — where Lim serves as the ambassador for culture, arts and indigenous people — were also present at the turnover.
