AIM receives P10-M donation honoring the late Leni Panganiban

THE Asian Institute of Management (AIM) proudly announced the receipt of a generous P10 million donation in loving memory of the late professor Elenita "Leni" Panganiban. This heartfelt gift from her family celebrates her legacy by funding the naming right of AIM's Chapel and creating a new case room named after her — the Leni Panganiban Case Room.

"We are deeply grateful for this generous donation made in loving memory of Professor Leni Panganiban," said Jikyeong Kang, president and dean of AIM.

"Through their gift, her legacy will continue to shine brightly within AIM," Kang added.

Panganiban was highly respected at AIM for her dedication to teaching and support for students. She served as AIM's first female professor and associate dean for over three decades. Her passion for education and caring nature left a lasting impact on students, guiding them academically and personally.

Alongside James Donelan, she dedicated herself to enhancing the chapel, quietly contributing time, attention and resources to its development and maintenance.

Her family, including her husband, retired chief justice Artemio Panganiban, hopes she will be remembered for her wisdom, strength of character, love for family and deep faith.

Leni Panganiban passed away on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023, but her memory continues to inspire the AIM community. The Institute extends its heartfelt thanks to the Panganiban family for their generosity and commitment to honoring the memory of Leni Panganiban.
