Guests were treated to a mesmerizing viewing tunnel that guided them through a sequence of light-emitting diode panels, showcasing the cutting-edge design, performance and safety features of the new models. In his opening address, Jose set the stage for a thrilling showcase, stating: "Prepare to be astonished by the remarkable vehicles we present today. Jetour Dashing PHEV: Redefining efficiency and range
The spotlight first fell on the Jetour Dashing PHEV, hailed by Jose as a revolutionary marvel in hybrid technology.
"This vehicle is a game-changer," he exclaimed. "Not only does it slash greenhouse gas emissions, but with a combined full tank of fuel and a fully charged electric battery, you can traverse 1,000 kilometers (km) worry-free. Say farewell to range anxiety and welcome endless possibilities!"
The Jetour Dashing PHEV epitomized JAPI's commitment to sustainable mobility. Its power stemmed from a dual propulsion system, combining a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a ternary lithium battery-powered electric motor. Enhanced by the i-DM Intelligent Drive System, the Dashing PHEV achieved unparalleled performance, boasting 545 newton-meters (Nm) of torque, 0 to 100 km-per-hour acceleration in 7 seconds and a pure electric range of up to 100 km.
Now available in the Philippines, the Dashing PHEV was a limited edition, exclusively offered to the first 10 customers.
Jetour T2: Unleashing unrivaled power and sophistication
And then, turning to the Jetour T2, Jose declared, "This is no ordinary SUV. It's a formidable 4x4 powerhouse capable of conquering any terrain, blending rugged capability with refined aesthetics."
Underneath its robust exterior lay a 2.0-liter Kunpeng Turbo Gas Direct Injection engine, paired with a Magna 7 speed dual-clutch transmission, delivering up to 251 horsepower and 390 Nm of torque. Supported by the Smart XWD Intelligent 4WD system, the T2 offered unmatched performance and agility across diverse landscapes.
Boasting the aesthetics of ruggedness and the functionality of high technology, the T2 exuded confidence both on and off the road. Its intelligent cockpit, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset, ensured seamless control and safety of the driver.
Safety was paramount in the T2, featuring a robust chassis, metal underbody shields and advanced driver-assistance systems technology from Bosch or Robert Bosch GmbH, providing over 17 intelligent assisted driving functions. From adaptive cruise control to lane departure warning, the T2 ensured occupants' safety in any environment.
Available in two variants — the T2 Beyond and T2 Terrain — the Jetour T2 promised exceptional value for adventurous spirits.
