MANILA, Philippines: It's warm and humid this Maundy Thursday due to the easterlies, according to the state-run weather agency.
Weather specialist Daniel James Villamil of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said they have not monitored any weather disturbance in the coming days or probably until Easter Sunday.
"It would be another generally fair weather in most parts of the country caused by the easterlies, the winds coming from the east that pass through the Pacific Ocean," the Pagasa forecaster said.
However, the state weather bureau said isolated or scattered downpours could be experienced in some areas, especially late in the afternoon or at night.
"But hotter weather could be likely particularly at noon until mid-afternoon," Badrina said.
The weather system along with the localized thunderstorms are bringing partly cloudy to overcast skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, Pagasa said.
