Alike Media Inc.'s Galentine's Day celebrates women

GALENTINE'S Day was like Valentine's Day but exclusively for ladies. It's all about sisterhood and empowering each other.

Media company Alike Media Inc. made female friendship festivities extra fun by staging its first event of 2024, a Galentine's event cum floral party, in partnership with Petalier Inc. and Grapevine Restaurant.

It was a memorable event, celebrating the friendship forged within the Alike community. Grapevine Restaurant's inviting ambiance, Instagram-worthy decorations and scrumptious meals made the gathering unforgettable. For the occasion, the restaurant served delicious pastries such as its specialty French Opera, Puff Royale (a caramelized puff pastry), Lotus Biscoff cheesecake, strawberry shortcake, dark mocha sans rival and Grapevine's signature velvet hot chocolate.

Petalier Inc., led by its founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Diane Yap-Reyes, provided a flower arrangement demonstration, which the ladies enjoyed to the fullest.

Each participant made their own flower bouquet — a symbol that women could make their own flower bouquets rather than simply receiving them. Aside from all the activities, it was the camaraderie among the ladies that made the #AlikeGalentines one for the books.

Alike Media Inc. founder and CEO Chari Trinidad-Mendoza said in her welcoming remarks: "One of the things we wanted to do different in Alike this year is to make more events. These events are our way to gather and give back to the Alike community for being so supportive of the brand. We would not be here without you."
