CHOCO Mucho and Cignal HD clash in a crucial showdown for a share of the lead with defending champion Creamline in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2024 All-Filipino Conference on Thursday, March 14, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

With both teams hoping to remain unscathed in the tournament and seeking to join Creamline (4-0) at the top of the standings, an intensified showdown is expected at 6 p.m.

Choco Mucho's new setter Mars Alba's playmaking will be put to test as she will have a showdown with PVL's reigning best setter Gel Cayuna in their much-awaited showdown.

In its previous game, Cignal made quick work of Nxled with a 25-21, 25-17, 25-21 sweep led by Ces Molina's 14-point outing and Rose Doria's 10-point performance last week.

On the other hand, Choco Mucho overcame a third-set blip and took down the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in four sets, 25-9, 25-23, 20-25, 25-17, last Saturday, March 2.

Sisi Rondina proved to be too much for the Crossovers as she exploded for 23 points.

In the opening game, Petro Gazz takes on Farm Fresh at 4 p.m.

The Foxies made a breakthrough win against Chery Tiggo with 25-23, 25-22, 25-16 last Saturday, March 9. They relied on the excellent performance of playmaker Louie Romero, who delivered 27 excellent sets and Trisha Tubu's firepower (18 points).

With Farm Fresh eyeing to shock another formidable team, they have to stop Petro Gazz's Brooke Van Sickle, who made 24 points in a straight-set win against the Akari Chargers, 25-21, 25-23, 25-17, last Saturday, March 9.
