The project aims to enhance the educational landscape in the province by providing financial assistance to qualified public school teachers to pursue their postgraduate education.

Gov. Susan Yap, who personally led the distribution of certificates of scholarship, noted the significance of continuous learning and education both for professional growth and for public service.

"As we award the scholarships, I plant the seed in you upon which the new generations and children of our province will rely for their future," Yap told the recipients.

Scholars will receive financial support covering tuition fees, academic materials, and other necessary expenses associated with their postgraduate education.

Mentorship opportunities, professional development workshops, and networking events will also be provided to enhance the beneficiaries' teaching skills and educational leadership abilities.

Tarlac National High School Principal Yolanda Gonzales thanked the provincial government for the opportunity provided to the educators.

"This scholarship will not only empower the teachers to further their education but also equip them with the tools and knowledge necessary to better serve students and communities," she said.

Project FREE is open to qualified teachers currently serving in public schools in Tarlac.

Eligible applicants will undergo a selection process based on academic merit and demonstrated commitment to the advancement of their education.
