Over 4K pass mechanical engineers' exam

MANILA, Philippines: The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 4,458 out of 6,770 passed the February 2024 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination, translating to 65.85 percent passing rate.

Rey Mediana Arcabal, from the University of Mindanao-Davao City topped the examination with 93.45 percent rating.

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines- CDO ranked first among the top performing schools, garnering 97.33 percent passing rate.

Below are the top 10:

1. Rey Mediana Arcabal, University of Mindanao-Davao City, 93.45 percent;

2. Bryan Paul Capinding Balacia, Saint Louis University, 92.20 percent;

3. Lionel Dave Penton Scoring, Bohol Island State University, 92.10 percent;

4. John Carlo Nicolas Delos Santos, University of Sto. Tomas, 91.85 percent;

5. Glen Rose San Pedro Belo, Technological University of the Philippines-Manila, 91.15 percent;

Robert Adrian Enriquez Ng, Universal of the Philippines-Diliman, 91.15 percent;

6. Christian John Paul Llenos Lijayan, Technological University of the Philippines, 91.10 percent;

7. Dominic Pastor Casio, University of the Philippines-Diliman, 90.80 percent;

Melwin Garcia Toledo, Bulacan State University-Malolos, 90.80 percent;

8. Ronn Dave Torres Cañonesz, University of Mindanao-Davao City, 90.75 percent;

9. Jacob Bulaon Dela Cruz, Bulacan State University, 90.55 percent;

10. Allen Paul Lumanao Jasareno, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, 90.45 percent.

The exam was administered from February 20 to 22 at testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban and Zamboanga.
