Celebrate the Year of the Wooden Dragon with Ortigas Malls' larger than life take on the holiday.

On February 10, Ortigas Malls is hosting traditional Chinese New Year performances at GH Mall, Tiendesitas, and Estancia Mall.

The malls will welcome all shoppers with a vibrant Dragon and Lion Dance starting at 10 a.m. to signal luck and prosperity at the start of the day. It will be followed by other festive activities that visitors can watch while shopping and dining.

At GH Mall, the Drum Beaters will liven up shoppers' days with their booming beats from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will also be a special Bench Exhibition from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. For those who want to know their fortunes this year, Joyce Co will have a talk on the "Outlook for the Year of the Wooden Dragon" from 4 to 5 p.m.

From 2 to 3 p.m., the Drum Beaters will showcase their upbeat performance to celebrate Chinese New Year. Shoppers can also catch a traditional Umbrella Dance, a popular folk dance originating from a district in China that's well-known for making umbrellas, from 3 to 4 pm.

Meanwhile, Estancia Mall's Chinese New Year showcase will be a mix of strength and elegance.

Martial arts enthusiasts will be able to watch a live Wushu Exhibition at Estancia Mall from 2 to 3 p.m., which will showcase the artistic side of the fighting style.

Then, from 3 to 4 p.m., a whimsical Silk Fan Dance performance will amaze shoppers with the dancers' graceful dance moves.
