MANILA, Philippines: An executive of ABS-CBN network passed away, his son said on Saturday in a post on Facebook.

Star Magic singer-actor PJ Endrinal said his father, Dreamscape Entertainment head Roldeo "Deo" Endrinal, died but did not disclose other details.

"Thank you daddy for everything, you have been the best father not just to me but to everyone that has known you. We will always remember how fortunate we are that you were in our lives," the young Endrinal said.

"This will definitely be a hole in my heart and will leave a scar; but I know that you're finally free from pain and now happily dancing in heaven cause you'll definitely be the life of the party up there," he said.

The older Endrinal's last Instagram post was a teaser to the ABS-CBN series Pira-Pirasong Paraiso last December.

Endrinal served as a writer and producer to several ABS-CBN shows, including On the Wings of Love, Ang Probinsyano, Walang Hanggan, La Vida Lena, and Honesto.
