MANILA-BASED cloud restaurant startup CloudEats has launched the flagship store of its Burger Beast brand at the SM Mall of Asia (SM MOA) in Pasay City as part of a nationwide expansion effort.
Burger Beast, which started as a delivery-only operation during the pandemic, has since expanded to four in-store locations, including Uptown Mall in Taguig City, and Eastwood Mall and UP Town Center in Quezon City.
In a statement, the company said the build-your-own-burger kiosk "offers diners the opportunity to create their dream burger by selecting from a wide range of premium ingredients and flavor combinations."
"The grand opening of the flagship store is just the beginning of a thrilling chapter for Burger Beast," it continued. "Patrons should expect a variety of surprises, including unique experiences, collaborations, and limited-time offerings."
CloudEats culinary director Carlo Miguel, who conceptualized the brand, said the 96-square-meter burger joint was strategically opened to cater to the "diverse" tourists and local Filipinos visiting SM MOA.
"The ethos of Burger Beast revolves around unleashing the inner beast within us all, encouraging everyone to embrace their cravings and enjoy the best and beastliest burgers imaginable," he noted.
The burger joint, which currently covers about 90 percent of Metro Manila via delivery service providers Grab and FoodPanda, plans to launch more physical stores across the country, Miguel added.
"Burger Beast is committed to redefining the burger experience by providing culinary delights that cater to every taste bud. The launch of the flagship store marks a new phase in the brand's journey, promising indulgent, bold, and liberating experiences for all," the company said.
