BDOF turns over rehabilitated rural health units in Bicol, Bohol

BDO Foundation (BDOF) has turned over the newly rehabilitated rural health units (RHUs) in the municipalities of Sagñay, Camarines Sur, and Trinidad, Bohol.

The facilities are expected to expand accessibility to the medical needs of affected communities.

With these initiatives completed, nearly 40 barangay and over 70,000 people will access primary and maternal care, including consultation, laboratory and dental services, family planning, immunization, pre- and post-natal services, and tuberculosis treatment.

According to the BDOF, the rehabilitation efforts on the RHUs focused on refurbishing and upgrading the facilities and waiting areas, play areas for kids, offices, clinics, consultation rooms and treatment rooms.
