Fraternal Order of Eagles installs Delos Santos as new president

A NEW national president of The Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles (TFOEPE) was installed on Jan. 6, 2024 at The Tent, Las Piñas City to lead the one-million strong organization.

Ronald Delos Santos took his oath as the 38th president of the Philippine-originated and founded association that promotes nationalism, care for the needy and support of government programs, particularly in social services, education and general well-being of the citizenry.

As he took the torch of leadership from outgoing president Nelson Alonto Sarapuddin, Delos Santos called for unity and cooperation within TFOEPE for the success of his promotion of Eagle Year 2024 programs.

The event was attended by 3,000 elected and appointed officials from all over the country. Government officials, among them Senators Cynthia Villar and Joseph Victor "JV" Ejercito, Public Attorney's Office Chief Persida Acosta, former senator Joey Lina, Department of Education Undersecretary Epimaco Densing 3rd, TGP Partylist Rep. Jose Teves Jr., Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Administrator Arnell Ignacio and Ret. Col. Edison "Bong" Nebrija, also attended the event.

Other elected national officers include Secretary General Allan Corpuz, Executive National Vice President Jason Masa, Vice President for Luzon Agaton Javier, Vice President for Visayas Arnold de Asis, Vice President for Mindanao Soliven Teo, past national president league (Panaple) chairman Salvador Ramos and Panaple Vice Chairman Vicente Avilla.

Meanwhile, NCR 84th region governor Jenzen "Zentur" Turica expressed approval of the programs laid out by Delos Santos including the strengthening of bond among Eagle brothers and sisters.

TFOEPE was established in Quezon City in 1979 as a socio-civic organization which the Eagles acronym means "Enlightened and innovative humanitarian; Animated primarily by a strong bond of brotherhood and fraternal ties; God-loving, non-sectarian; Law-abiding, liberty-oriented, nonpolitical; Emblazed with intense mission of service to country, its people and community."
