One-entrance, one-exit policy at Shrine on Jan 15

The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) will enforce a one-entrance, one-exit policy at the Shrine Hills in Matina, Davao City on January 15, 2024, in anticipation of over 50,000 devotees attending the Feast of the Holy Infant Jesus. Devotees can only access the chapel from Matina road and exit through the diversion road. To ensure safety and order, 80 law enforcers will assist the Talomo Police Station in safeguarding the area. Security measures will be stringent, with restrictions on carrying backpacks, sharp objects, colored water bottles, and jackets. Cooperation from all attendees in adhering to the do's and don'ts is emphasized to ensure a smooth and problem-free event. The Shrine has also issued the schedule of Fiesta Activities for January 15, including a procession of the Statue of the Holy Infant Jesus of Prague, a nine-hour novena, and masses presided over by various religious figures. The English mass at 5 p.m. will be led by Reverend Fr. Oriando Angeli. Read The Rest at :
