India abstains in UNGA on resolution demanding Israel leave Occupied Palestinian Territory within 12 months

India abstained from voting on a UN General Assembly resolution demanding Israel end its unlawful presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory within 12 months. The resolution was adopted with 124 votes in favor, 14 against, and 43 abstentions. The resolution calls for Israel to be held accountable for violations of international law.
