49 minority teachers in Bangladesh forced to resign since August 5: Minority organisation

After Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled Bangladesh on August 5, minority communities faced severe violence. At least 49 minority teachers were forced to resign, although 19 were later reinstated. Attacks, looting, and other acts of violence targeted Hindus, Buddhists, and Christians. Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus, now leading the interim government, promises to promote interfaith harmony.
