Bangladeshi protesters attack supporters of ex-premier Hasina and harass journalists

In Bangladesh, student protesters and political activists armed with weapons prevented supporters of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from reaching the house of her father and independence leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The protesters attacked visitors, set the museum on fire, and harassed journalists. Hasina, now in exile, urged supporters to honor Rahman's death anniversary. The interim government led by Muhammad Yunus has canceled public mourning for Rahman, following Hasina's ouster amid violent protests.
