Multiple people were injured after a shooter opened fire at a splash pad in a Detroit suburb where families had gathered on Saturday afternoon. Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard reported nine or 10 victims, including an 8-year-old child, with gunshot wounds. The shooter, believed to be contained in a nearby home, fired as many as 28 times before law enforcement surrounded the area. A handgun and three empty magazines were recovered.
