Thousands are evacuated after floods break a dam in the Russian city of Orsk

A dam in Orsk, Russia, broke due to rising water levels in the Ural River, causing 2,000 people to evacuate. The dam, which could withstand water levels up to 5.5 meters, was flooded and electricity cut off in several areas. Floods also affected other areas in the Ural Mountains area, causing the evacuation of nearly 4,000 people.
