A container ship collided with the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore early Tuesday, causing a section of the bridge to collapse into the river below. Several vehicles fell into the water, and rescuers are searching for survivors. The cause of the crash is unclear. The ship caught fire, and thick smoke billowed from it.
