A container ship collided with the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore early Tuesday, causing a section of the bridge to collapse into the river below. Several vehicles fell into the water, and rescuers are searching for survivors. The cause of the crash is unclear. The ship caught fire, and thick smoke billowed from it. Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott called it "an unthinkable tragedy." Authorities are unsure how many people are in the water but may be looking for around seven individuals.
