Former President Donald Trump abruptly walked out of his defamation trial as lawyer Roberta Kaplan urged the jury to award writer E. Jean Carroll at least $12 million in damages. Kaplan argued that Trump had shattered Carroll's reputation by branding her a liar and unleashing hate toward her.
