The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved three new railway projects at a cost of ₹6,456 crore. The projects span seven districts in Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Chhattisgarh, enhancing Indian Railways by 300 kms.
