Approval for railway projects worth Rs 6.4k cr

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved three new railway projects at a cost of ₹6,456 crore. The projects span seven districts in Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Chhattisgarh, enhancing Indian Railways by 300 kms. These projects aim to improve logistical efficiency, directly connecting 1,300 villages and benefiting around 3 million people while contributing to climate goals.
