Citing 'friendly ties', Malaysia urges India to relax curbs on food supplies

Malaysian Minister for Plantation and Commodities, Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani, emphasized the negative effects of India’s export restrictions on rice, sugar, and onions for Malaysia. Highlighting the “friendly ties” between the countries, Ghani, currently visiting India, expressed hope for an arrangement to secure Malaysia's supply of these essential commodities.
