Govt has built 95,000 km of national highways in last 10 years: Road secretary Anurag Jain

Over the past nine-and-a-half years, the road ministry has constructed approximately 92,000 km of national highways, with a plan to increase this to 95,000 km by March 2024, as per Anurag Jain, the secretary of road transport and highways. Speaking at a conference on road infrastructure organized by the International Road Federation, Jain emphasized a focus on building high-speed access controlled highways for the next 30 to 50 years, aiming to prevent future congestion and meet population needs.
