Centre approves coal allocation for MP to set up power plants with capacity of 4100 MW

The Union government has allocated coal to Madhya Pradesh for installing thermal power plants with a combined capacity of 4100 MW. This decision, the first in five years, aims to meet the state's growing power demands, attract Rs 25,000 crore in investments, and generate significant employment. Current capacity is 4570 MW.
