India has surpassed China to become the highest-ranked Asian nation in the QS Asia University Rankings 2025, boasting 162 institutions, including 21 new entrants. IIT Delhi leads the Indian pack at 44th place, while Chandigarh University claims the top spot among private institutions, soaring to 120th. This achievement is attributed to India's focus on research and innovation, as highlighted by MP Satnam Singh Sandhu.
