Cash-strapped Andhra Pradesh likely to get Rs 20,000 cr in second half of FY25 through liquor licenses, sale

The Andhra Pradesh government projects revenue of approximately Rs 20,000 crore from liquor licensing fees and sales for the current financial year. Nearly 90,000 applications were submitted for 3,396 private liquor outlets, contributing Rs 1,800 crore in non-refundable fees.
