India was honored by the WHO for eliminating trachoma, following Nepal and Myanmar. Other recognitions included Bhutan for achieving cervical cancer interim targets, Maldives and Sri Lanka for Hepatitis B control, and Timor-Leste for eliminating lymphatic filariasis.
