Firefighters needed 190,000 litres of water to douse a Tesla battery burning at 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit

A Tesla Semi's lithium-ion battery fire, caused by a crash, needed around 50,000 gallons of water to extinguish. The incident occurred near Interstate 80 at Emigrant Gap.
