The TRAI issued a consultation paper on setting reserve prices for auctioning FM radio channels in 18 hilly cities under the FM Phase III policy, following the information and broadcasting ministry’s proposal. These cities are located in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir. The ministry also requested reserve prices for Bilaspur and Rourkela. Stakeholders have until August 29 to submit their comments, and counter comments can be made by September 12.
