Passengers commuting from Thane station in Mumbai received significant relief as the Central Railway announced the completion of widening work for platforms 5 and 6 on Sunday. The Central Railway provided insights into the special block undertaken for infrastructure enhancement at Thane station. The extension of platforms 5/6 involved widening by 2-3 meters across a length of 587 meters.
