ONGC cuts offshore helicopter sorties during monsoon to avoid accidents

India's top oil and gas producer, ONGC, has reduced helicopter sorties to its offshore installations in the Arabian Sea for three months to prevent deadly accidents during the monsoon season. The temporary measure, which is only in effect from June to August, aims to reduce the number of helicopters needed to transport personnel and material to the installations.
