Air India plane forced to make an emergency landing after its engine erupted into flames, with 179 passengers on board

An Air India Express aircraft carrying passengers from Pune to Kochi caught fire in Bengaluru, resulting in an emergency evacuation of 179 passengers, including six crew members, who were stranded in the Karnataka capital for almost thirteen hours. Smoke was seen coming from the engine, leading to an evacuation with slides being deployed.
