DGCA suspends Vistara’s head of training

India's civil aviation regulator suspended Vistara’s head of training, Vikram Mohan Dayal, due to deficiencies in the airline’s training process for Boeing 787 pilots. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) took action after finding Vistara failed to comply with regulations regarding Zero Flight Time Training (ZFTT) during a conversion program for Airbus A320 pilots to Boeing 787 aircraft.
