Aditya Birla Group chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla expressed optimism about Vodafone Idea's future after the company raised Rs 18,000 crore. Birla called it a "fresh lease of life" for the telco, which has been facing challenges from competitors like Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. The funds will be used to improve the network, densify it, and selectively introduce 5G services, marking the beginning of 'Vi 2.0'.
