Farmers protesting at the Shambhu railway station in Punjab's Patiala district have led to the cancellation of 73 trains on the Ambala-Amritsar route over the last five days. The protestors are demanding the release of three farmers arrested by the Haryana Police. The protest, organized by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, began on Wednesday and is part of the 'Delhi Chalo' march to press the government for their demands, including a legal guarantee of Minimum Support Price for crops.
