Auto components major Bharat Forge has announced the promotion of Amit Kalyani, son of its Chairman and MD Babasaheb N Kalyani, as Vice-Chairman and Joint Managing Director. The decision was made during the company's board meeting on April 3, 2024. Amit Kalyani's re-appointment as a whole-time director, designated as "Vice-Chairman and Joint Managing Director," was approved for a further term of five years, starting from May 11, 2024, until May 10, 2029.
