Uttarakhand received 4 million, 7.5 million and 8.3 million tourists in April, May and June, respectively, last year. The Himalayan state expects to surpass last year’s performance this summer season, said Sumit Pant, director of marketing and publicity at Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board.
