SpiceJet announced the lease of two wide-body A340 planes for Haj operations from Srinagar and Guwahati, with the first phase starting on May 9 to Medina. Each aircraft will seat 324 passengers. Flights are scheduled from seven Indian cities. Last year, SpiceJet's Haj operations earned Rs 337 crore.
